Use cases

Explain it once. Let the video do the rest.

Recorly is for the messages that are too long to type and too small for a meeting.

Product demos

Walk a prospect or stakeholder through a feature once, then send the link to everyone who missed the call.

Bug reports

Show exactly what went wrong, with your voice and cursor, instead of writing a long ticket nobody reads.

Onboarding

Record the walkthrough a new teammate or customer needs and reuse it every time someone joins.

Async updates

Replace the status meeting with a three-minute video your team can watch when it suits them.

Features

Everything you need to record, polish and share.

No editor to learn, no app to install. Just the tools that make a quick video clear.

Record

Screen, camera and mic — right in your browser.

Choose a screen, window or tab, add your camera and microphone, and record in 720p or 1080p.

  • Nothing to download or install
  • Camera and microphone are optional
  • Saved straight to your private library

Polish

Trim, chapters, captions and a call to action.

Cut the awkward start, add chapters so people can jump to what matters, and finish with a button that sends viewers where you want.

  • Non-destructive trim
  • Chapters and manual captions
  • Call-to-action button on the share page

Share

One link. You decide who sees it.

Every recording is private until you switch its link on. Turn it off and the old link stops working immediately.

  • Revocable share links and embeds
  • oEmbed previews in Notion, Slack and WordPress
  • Collections to keep projects together

How it works

From idea to shared video in three steps.

1

Record

Pick your screen, a window or a tab. Add your camera bubble and microphone if you want them, then hit record.

2

Polish

Trim the start and end, add chapters, captions and a call-to-action button. Nothing is re-encoded.

3

Share

Turn on the link when you are ready, paste it anywhere or embed it, and see how many times it was watched.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Recorly free?

Yes. Recorly is free during the beta and no card is needed. Paid Pro and Team plans are not on sale yet; any plan will be announced on the pricing page before it applies to anyone.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Recorly records in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium desktop browsers. Your browser asks for screen, camera and microphone permission each time.

Who can watch my recordings?

Only you, until you turn on a recording's share link. Turn the link off and the old link stops working straight away.

Can I embed a recording?

Yes. Every shared recording has an embed code, and Recorly supports oEmbed so links unfurl in tools such as Notion, Slack and WordPress.

Can I upload videos I already have?

Yes. Upload MP4, WebM or MOV files (up to 30 MB each during the beta) and share them the same way as recordings.

What does Recorly not do yet?

There is no desktop app or Chrome extension yet, no automatic transcripts or AI summaries and no shared team workspace. They are on the public roadmap.

Your next meeting could be a two-minute video.

Start recording in your browser now. It’s free, private by default and takes less than a minute to set up.
