Current instructions for the browser-based Recorly beta.

Create a recording

  1. Sign in and open Record.
  2. Choose 720p or 1080p, then select optional camera and microphone controls.
  3. Select Start Recording and approve the browser capture prompt.
  4. Stop, name, and save the recording to your private workspace.

Upload a video

  1. Open Upload from the workspace navigation.
  2. Choose an MP4, WebM, MOV, or QuickTime video up to 30 MB during private beta.
  3. Review the selected filename and size.
  4. Upload it to your private library.

Share safely

  1. Open a saved recording.
  2. Keep it private while reviewing the content.
  3. Enable public sharing only when ready.
  4. Copy the opaque share link, and disable sharing to revoke public access.

Browser requirements

  1. Use a current desktop browser with MediaDevices and MediaRecorder support.
  2. Camera, microphone, and screen access remain controlled by browser permissions.
  3. Actual capture options depend on the browser and operating system.

Beta and billing

  1. The production product is in private beta.
  2. Paid checkout and subscription management remain disabled during acceptance testing.
  3. Published plan limits will be finalized only after the paid lifecycle is verified.

Get support

  1. Open the same-domain Support page.
  2. Describe the affected account area and workflow without sharing passwords.
  3. Recorly context is included when the request enters the operator support system.
